Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Chris graduated from Confederation College in 2003 with electrical engineering technician and technologist diplomas. While working in his field, every encounter with people made him realize how important it was to positively affect their lives. This coupled with the introduction of yoga lead him to return to school in 2009 to pursue massage therapy. This is where Chris believes he found his calling, to help others.
Chris graduated locally from Everest College and received his Registered Massage Therapy diploma in 2012.
Chris is well versed in Swedish massage and enjoys deep tissue, myofascial, relaxation and treatment focused massages. His goal in every session is to deliver the treatment that you want, know it’s your massage, not his.
In his spare time you will find Chris in touch with nature, hiking, camping or fishing. He has a deep love of roller-blading and recently discovered cross country skiing in December of 2015. He practices Ashtanga Yoga, and is an active volunteer in the community.
On his quest to help others Chris has started to walk the path of Energy based healing. Chris uses Reiki primarily as his connection to Energy based healing. This unique and different form of healing couples excellently with his massage practice. The art of Reiki incorporates healing at the Mental, Emotional, Spiritual and Physical layers. When coupled with massage therapy Chris feels he is able to heighten his massage and enhance the effects on a grand new scale. If this is something you are interested in, please ask Chris for specific details. He can offer it in conjunction with a massage or as a standalone modality.
